In our digital society information about anything is readily available in a instant. Learners must be taught how to sift through all this information efficiently and effectively. Digital Citizenship involves educating people in a new way and providing them with information literacy skills in addition to the traditional reading, writing, and mathematical skills that have been taught for many years.
